I have been WAITING to share this nail polish with you guys for weeks now! For the upcoming Polish Pickup (PPU) for February, Beyond the Nail brings you our exclusive nail polish – Lunenburg. This is part of the “World Traveling/Landmarks” theme for February 2021.
Lunenburg is a multicoloured microglitter nail polish inspired by the colourful town of Lunenburg in Nova Scotia. For microglitter polishes, like this one, I usually start with one thin coat and then sponge on the next coat to achieve maximum glitter payoff. Because of all the microglitter, two coats of topcoat are definitely necessary. I never do two coats, but one coat of topcoat just seems like a “glaze” over microglitters and you’re still left with somewhat of a texture. A second, thicker coat leaves my nails super smooth! I would definitely recommend doing this method when applying any type of microglitter or packed glitter nail polish.
