It’s officially been over a year since I moved in with Josh, and I can say that my issues with sounds during sleep have not changed. I still wear noise cancelling earbuds every single night without fail. I’ve even gone to bed later so I know they’ve gotten charged enough or I won’t get a good nights sleep. I received QuietOn’s noise cancelling earbuds last year and they were a life saver when I initially moved out. Their noise cancelling earbuds were the smallest in it’s kind, & canceled out low frequency sounds (such as snoring and ambient noises). Because I have misophonia, I am very sensitive to sound & it gives me such bad anxiety that I search out for sounds at times knowing I will eventually hear something.
To my surprise, QuietOn came out with their 3rd generation noise cancelling earbuds. These ones look and feel much higher quality, and they’re designed them to be slimmer and more comfortable for side sleepers (yay!). The technology used to cancel out noise is the same. The active noise cancelling technology eliminates ambient sounds (traffic, airplanes, appliances, snoring, etc) by automatically generating opposite waveforms to nullify the low frequencies. Unlike other sleep earbuds, these do not transmit any masking sounds, as this is said to disrupt deep sleep.
QuietOn 3 Noise Cancelling Earbuds include a charging case and cable, and 4 different sized ear tips to ensure they fit properly. The earbuds themselves and the case look so much sleeker than the previous QuietOn 2 earbuds that I originally had. The charging case also provides 28 hours of use on one charge, so the earbuds will last all night.

Compared to the 2nd generation earbuds, I don’t feel like the technology is very different – but the way it fits into my ear is much better. I barely even notice wearing them at night, and compared to the older ones, these don’t scratch against my pillow – which I found to be a nuisance. In my photos, you cannot see a huge difference in how they sit in my ears, but I can tell you, they’re much more comfortable!
