The power of makeup never fails to amaze me. Changing such subtle things in the way you apply your makeup can make you look totally different. Even changing colours of products you normally wear can make you feel like a new person! Bite Beauty’s new Lip Pencil’s are the perfect addition to my makeup collection. Not only are they easy to apply, they have the best formula. Thanks to Influenster, I was able to try out two of their new lip pencils, as well as 2 sample sizes of their Amuse Bouche lipsticks.

The Lip Pencil 020 & Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Honeycomb
I was skeptical at first when seeing the shades of the lip pencil and lipsticks because one of the shade’s are a bit darker than I would usually wear. I knew it wouldn’t look good with my skin tone and hair colour. The lighter shade was much more suitable for me, but still a shade I will find difficult to pair with. I feel like it’s too much of an orange toned nude, & it washes me out.
The Lip Pencil 044 & Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Whiskey
I received Bite Beauty’s Lip Pencils in 020 (beige nude) and 044 (rich mohogany). Even though I’m not in love with the lighter shade of lip pencil and lipstick, I will get more use out of 020 because it can be paired up with many different lipsticks, where as 044 is too dark to be with anything other than the matching lipstick. Luckily, I did get the matching Amuse Bouche lipsticks – Honeycomb & Whiskey. So if I do want to wear these shades, I have the perfect match for them.
The formula’s of these products were smooth and creamy. I had no issues with the Lip Pencil 020 or lipstick in Honeycomb, however, the Lip Pencil in 044 and lipstick in Whiskey bled a lot and did not have great wear time. I feel like if I were to wear this, it would definitely get messy throughout the day.
