Sunset Eyes

I never really go crazy with my makeup anymore. When I was younger I would wear a gradient of pink eye shadows all the time. I stopped doing it because my mom said it made me look sick… lol, so that was the end of that. Now, I just stick to lighter shades of pinks, purples, and browns. To add some flair, I do make sure to use a shimmer eye shadow for some dimension.

I wanted to step outside my comfort zone, and I’ve been seeing the sunset eyes trend all over the internet lately, so I decided to give it a try! I used various orange, yellow, gold, and red shadows from BH Cosmetics Modern Mattes ($12.50 USD)Foil Eyes ($12.50 USD) & Mink eyelashes ($12.50 USD) Eyeshadow Palettes to create this look! I also used Inglot’s Gel Liner in 77 ($22 CDN), and a mix of mascara’s from Essence Cosmetics

BH Cosmetics eye shadows really work well with me and I’ve never had any problems using them. They blend nicely, and I can find new combinations of shadows constantly. For the price point and the amount of shadows you get, I think they’re worth it!

You’ll also notice my hair is different. This is my natural hair.. in all it’s glory –cue sarcasm-. It’s not very easy to style, and this is a good day believe it or not. So I straighten or curl it a lot!
