With spring right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get your skin back to looking its best! With Aveeno’s new Positively Radiant Body line, you can get help tone down your dark spots and keep your skin beyond moisturized. Personally, keeping my skin hydrated throughout the winter is tough. I don’t like having to strip off my clothes and apply cream everywhere, only to struggle to put my clothes back on (it’s like putting on wet jeans!). So with spring fast approaching, I need to start focusing on my skin. Thankfully Aveeno sent me their new Positively Radiant Exfoliating Body Wash, Body Lotion, and Targeted Dark Spot Corrector Body Cream.
Their new body line introduces the tone-correcting power of ACTIVE NATURALS® Total Soy Complex. This Soy Complex evens skin tone and texture, leaving your skin looking radiant. With the continued use of Aveeno products with the Total Soy Complex will visibly transform dull, uneven skin into brighter, more radiant skin.
Not only is my skin dry, but since I was leaving for vacation, I might have caused my skin some tension by getting waxed and going tanning. If you’ve ever done either of those, you know that taking a shower afterwards is essential! The night that I first tried these products was actually perfect timing. I had come home from the gym and tanning, so I was all sweaty. I was excited to try the Aveeno Positively Radiant Exfoliating Body Wash because I wanted to see how well it worked against my sweat and body lotion (from tanning). I’m usually not surprised at how well body washes work or not, but this one actually made me very surprised. It’s thicker than most body washes, but lathers up so nicely and actually exfoliates! I applied this onto a loofah and washed my whole body, and I actually felt the exfoliants all over my skin.
When I was finished my shower, I dried my skin with a towel and applied Aveeno Positively Radiant Body Lotion everywhere. This lotion is said to help moisturize skin for a full 24 hours. Since I don’t usually use body lotion, I’m not used to feeling my skin so soft. But honestly, after applying this lotion, my skin felt soft the next morning! It was a pleasant surprise, especially since I wasn’t expecting it. Applying it was easy, but I noticed it did take a while to sink into my skin. I had to wait a while for it to absorb before I could get dressed. Not a huge problem since I could put on my face creams while I waited.
The last product from this new collection is Aveeno Positively Radiant Targeted Dark Spot Corrector Body Cream. This product is used improve the look of dark spots and reveal smoother, more visibly radiant skin. It also contains SPF 15 UVA / UVB protection, which is also helpful when applying it before going out for the day. It applied like butter and soaked into my skin in no time.
