Finding the right place to get desserts for events can be hard. Getting both good prices and good quality products are tricky to find. Sometimes the places we forget to think about are the PERFECT places to go. I celebrated my 30th birthday this past weekend and was looking to find some treats to provide to my guests. Normally, I would search around instagram and ask friends for recommendations on where to go, but this time, I thought of Mrs. Fields Bakehouse right away! I always buy my mom a giant cookie for her birthday, so I figured I should do something similar for myself!
Mrs. Fields Bakehouse has a wide selection of gourmet, fresh products from soft-baked cookies to cakes to butter tarts! They also have some savoury pies for those who don’t have a sweet tooth 😉 I used to have a Mrs. Fields in the mall closest to my house (they recently closed), but they didn’t have as big of a selection of desserts like the Mrs. Fields Bakehouse at Sherway Gardens. This location is your one stop shop for all your parties and events! They have a ton of cookies, strudels, macarons, and individual cake slices.

Maple Walnut Raisin Butter Tarts
For my birthday, I got one of their Gift Baskets filled with their Nibblers bite-sized cookies with just about every flavour of cookie they offer (White Chocolate Macadamia, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip, Sprinkle, Cinnamon Sugar, & more)! Every single cookie was FRESH & SOFT. It’s been 2 days since my party and I may have snuck some aside for me to eat during the week… and yep, still soft and delicious!! Along with the huge gift basket, I also had some of their Maple Raisin Walnut Butter Tarts. The crust on them were soft and buttery, and just as big of a hit as the cookies!
Mrs. Fields Bakehouse is located inside Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, Ontario. They have SO many tasty treats which would be perfect for birthdays, work meetings, baby/bridal showers, gifts, or even just for yourself! You can of course get individual portions for yourself, or gift baskets like I got. Trust me when I say you will make any occasion that much more special with some cookies or butter tarts from Mrs. Fields Bakehouse! When I picked up my goodies from them, every single person I walked past in the mall couldn’t stop staring! My boyfriend just kept laughing and saying I was the talk of the town because everyone’s eyes were on the huge gift basket I had!
