China Glaze Trolls World Tour Collection

The Trolls World Tour movie comes out in April, and while I’m clearly not a kid anymore, I’m definitely interested in seeing it! It looks funny, brings out my inner child, and I’m so into all the colours going on. To help celebrate the launch of the movie, China Glaze has come out with a Trolls World Tour Collection, which includes 8 nail polishes.

I haven’t used China Glaze in years, but it’s not because I don’t like the brand – I just make my own nail polish now! China Glaze always made gorgeous colours and their quality was one of my favourites. Their nail polishes are formulated with hardeners to make the nail polish last longer on your nails, and they dry quickly with a glossy finish. They’re also free from toluene, DBP and added formaldehydes that are bad for your nails. Anyways, let’s jump straight into what you’re really here for – the swatches! (Click on the images to see them in a larger view)

Funky Beat from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is a bright purple creme polish. It had a great consistency, and only took two coats to achieve this opacity. This swatch also has one coat of glossy top coat over it. The colour of this polish is very bright in person! This will be perfect for summer.

Pink-In-Poppy from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is a super bright pink glitter nail polish. Pink-In-Poppy is loaded with super fine glitter, so it has great coverage. This swatch was done in three thin coats, topped with one coat of glossy top coat over it. It almost looks like foil from the way it shimmers in the light.

No-Holds Barb from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is a bright pink-red jelly nail polish. This swatch was done in three coats, followed by one coat of glossy topcoat. As it’s a jelly, more coats were needed for full opacity. This nail polish was really hard to photograph because even in different lighting around my house, this pulled either red, coral, or orange. I’d say the true colour of this is a orange-red.

Delta Darlin’ from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is a light peachy orange creme. This swatch was done in only two coats, as it is a thicker creme nail polish, followed by one coat of glossy topcoat. This nail polish really surprised me because I wasn’t expecting it to be as bright as it is. This one will get major use in summer!

Glitter-iffic from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is described as an iridescent glitter, but to me, it’s a fine holographic glitter nail polish. This one was blinding in the light! My swatch was done in three thin coats, followed by one coat of glossy topcoat. This polish is obviously amazing by itself, but it would also be great as an accent nail paired up with literally any of the other polishes in the collection.

It’s All Techno from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is a yellow-green creme. My swatch was done in two coats, followed by one coat of glossy topcoat. This wouldn’t normally be a nail polish colour I’d gravitate towards, and it may be hard to wear any clothing to match.. but I can see it working great in nail art, or as an accent colour to a deep navy or teal polish.

Can’t Stop Branchin’ from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is a turquoise creme nail polish. Beautiful formula, as I only needed two thin coats for application, followed by one coat of glossy topcoat. This nail polish will be great for spring! I don’t see a ton of people (other than myself) wearing teal nail polish, but when I do I always want to go home and paint my nails the same colour right away haha.

Chill In Symphonyville from China Glaze’s Trolls World Tour Collection is a blue shimmer in a sheer blue base. My swatch was done in three coats, followed by one coat of glossy topcoat. Honestly, I wish I did four coats – this nail polish is super sheer but it’s definitely super cute! The glossy topcoat really brought out the shimmer.
