Other than makeup, hair tools are a huge necessity for me. My hair has the weirdest natural texture – it goes wavy/curly, very frizzy, but can also be straight & frizzy? I guess it really depends on how I style it and what products I use. You can check see how my hair looks like from my latest travel post to Mexico. It was so humid that I couldn’t style my hair because it would just end up being frizzy in 10 minutes. I usually turn to my hair straightener or curler to get it to look presentable.
Irresistible Me had sent me their Sapphire 8-in-1 Curler last year and I couldn’t be happier with it! I tend to use the biggest sized barrel because I love the big waves it gives after my hair falls out of the curls (unless I use hair products, then my curls will last longer!). I’ve lent it to many friends to use and everyone has loved using it!
I recently went to my friends engagement part, so I wanted to do my hair for the occasion. My bangs are short (due to heat styling sigh), so I ended up braiding them and pulling them to the side to get out of my face. I really loved the outcome of this look, so I decided to take some pictures for my blog & to match my new layout scheme 🙂
I went with simple makeup, but bold eyeliner and a soft lip. For my lips, I actually mixed two ColourPop matte lips – Solow & Midi. I used my favourite gel eyeliner from Inglot and loaded on the mascara (using 3 different ones as usual lol – I cannot get used to wearing false lashes).
