Curls & Tanned Skin

For some odd reason, I’m really into braids at the moment. I tried this look on straight hair and it wasn’t something I loved.. but with my hair curled, I think it looks cute.

HAIR

I curled my hair using Irresistible Me’s Sapphire 8-in-1 Curler with the 32mm barrel. For these pictures, I had curled my hair the night prior and went over it again quickly the next day as it got messy and undone by sleeping. When I do it the first time, the curls aren’t as loose. I prefer the loose curls over the tighter ones, so I usually do my hair at night and sleep on it. I do apply a pump or two of Pantene – BB Creme for hair to keep my hair looking shiny and to control any frizz. I added one braid across my part on the left side of my head.

MAKEUP

For my makeup, I started by using Maybelline – Fit Me Foundation in Nude Beige (shade 125), and NARS – Radiant Creamy Concealer in Medium (Custard), which I applied with a damp Beauty Blender sponge.

I added a subtle bronze shadow using Covergirl – TruNaked Eyeshadow Pallette in Goldens. When I want a “fresh & simple” look, I don’t add eyeliner or mascara to the bottom of my lashes, so I just did a winged line with Inglot – AMC Eyeliner in 77. For my lashes, I used my go-to method by using 3 different mascara’s: I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara, Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara, & I Love Extreme Volume. This creates long, separated, and full voluminous lashes!My brows don’t need a lot of work done, but I do need to fill in some spots. So when I need to touch them up, I use Essence’s Eyebrow Designer in 04 Blonde.I needed some extra colour on my skin, so I used Crown Brush – Deluxe Angle Blush Brush & ELF – Blushing Rose on my cheeks , and Crown Brush – Deluxe Flat Bronzer Brush & Maybelline – Fit Me Matte & Poreless Powder in Buff Beige for my overall powder.

I finished off the look by using Colourpop – Solow on my lips.

It didn’t seem like I used a lot of products for this look, but after writing down all the products I used.. it’s clear to see I used a lot of things!
