Before I began to do these nails, I had pictured them in my head and thought they would turn out much better than this. I didn’t think the holo silver against the white would be such a close match. I took photos of my nails just to see if it would show up differently on camera, so I’m going to share these with you all even though I’m not impressed with them myself…
I started by painting all my nails with one coat of PRO-FX – Complete 3. I then painted each nail with one thick coat of Beyond the Nail – Bright White. When it was dry, I applied one coat of PRO-FX – Quick Dry Topcoat to all my nails. After waiting about 10 minutes for everything to completely dry (don’t skip this step! If your nails aren’t completely dry, the nail guides will peel off nail polish with them), I applied an Icicle Nail Guide to the top of each nail and painted over everything with a thick coat of Beyond the Nail – Ghost of Christmas Present. I gently peeled away each nail guide while the nail polish that I painted over it was still wet. After waiting for about 5 minutes for it to dry, I applied one coat of Beyond – Top Coat.
