Sally Hansen’s Petal Soft Range consists of 6 soft muted shades that range between white, nude, pink, purple, & blue. By looking at my swatches, you might think some of them look the same, and it’s honestly VERY close. Although, when you wear them, you can definitely see the difference, especially against your skin tone. When I first got this collection, I instantly gravitated towards Freesia Fancy because of the shimmer in the polish. After swatching each nail polish, I can’t even tell you my favourite… It’s a toss up between Dahlia Darling and Balmy Blush. They’re all so gorgeous and I can really use these all year round.

Which nail polish from the Petal Soft Collection is calling your name? They’re honestly ALL so nice and would match anything you wear. I love the formula of these nail polishes too – they dry with a satin semi-matte finish and actually look like the same texture as flower petals! In all my swatches above, I’ve added one coat of topcoat just to seal in the colour and make them last (& I’m a sucker for glossy nails). The only thing I’m not a fan of is their precision brush. It’s a wide, flat brush (opposed to the normal thin round brush), and it’s honestly too big for my nails. My nails are small, and not very wide so when applying nail polish, I get it on my cuticles and my actual fingers. So I have to be careful when applying it, and for my pinky, I’ve had to use the smaller side of the brush so I don’t make a huge mess on myself.
