Doing gradients on my nails are my favourite! I really liked how mine turned out.. until I smudged the stamped design over it *sigh*
I started by painting my nails with one coat of Beyond the Nail – Bright White. While it was drying, I painted around each nail with liquid latex and waited for everything to dry. I got a makeup sponge and sponged over each nail, creating a gradient using Beyond the Nail’s Spring Blue Creme & Spring Purple Creme. I immediately peeled away the liquid latex, and then painted over each nail with Beyond the Nail – Mermaid Dust for a little sparkle! To get the design on my nails, I used Bundle Monster – Stamping Plate BM-404 and Beyond the Nail – Deep Black. I painted a layer of OPI – Start to Finish, but didn’t wait for the stamped image to completely dry.. so that’s why there’s some smudging 🙁
