I finally got around to doing some actual nail art! I feel like I say this every time I post nail art.. I should really just get back into it and do more nail art. I saw these Purple Gradient Arrow nails from @shannasnailadventures and knew I had to recreate it! I haven’t done an “inspiration from instagram” post since August 2017!!! It’s crazy how quickly time flies by.. and I love to recreate nail art from other bloggers because I can never think of good enough ideas on my own, and it’s fun to share credit to others.
For these nails, I started with one thin coat of Beyond the Nail – Bright White. While it was drying, I applied a latex barrier around each nail to help with easy cleanup while I do the gradient and stamp. When it was all dry, I got a makeup sponge and painted on Beyond the Nail – Bright White, Smokey Lavender, & Violet Creme in three lines across it. With a light touch, I sponged on a gradient onto each nail, about three times over to achieve opacity. After I was done with the gradient, I applied one coat of Beyond the Nail – Scattered Holographic Topcoat to each nail. I let this dry for about 5-10 minutes, while I searched through my nail plates for the perfect design. When everything was completely dry, I stamped on this arrow design using Bundle Monster – Stamping Plate BM-606, my Clear Nail Art Jelly Stamper, and Beyond the Nail – Deep Black. I gently peeled away the latex barrier, and topped each nail off with one coat of PRO-FX – Complete 3.
