A couple of weeks ago, I had asked my boyfriend what colour to paint my nails. He suggested purple and green – his favourite colours. I found a nail plate that said “happy birthday”, so I knew I had to pair it up – especially for his birthday!
I started by painting my nails with two coats of Beyond the Nail – Bright White. When it was dry, I took a straw, dipped it into Beyond the Nail – Space Cadet and blew it over each nail to create a spray paint look. I repeated the process for each nail, and then did the same with Beyond the Nail – Comet. Since this technique is messy and creates blobs of nail polish on your nails, I had to let it dry for about 10 minutes before adding a topcoat so it wouldn’t smudge. On my ring finger, I stamped over it using a Happy Birthday nail plate and Beyond the Nail – Deep Black. I topped each nail off with one coat of PRO FX – Complete 3 and added some green and purple rhinestones to the top of each nail.
