Rainbow Graffiti Nails

Every so often I go all out on my nails, and not just for my blog. I definitely kept these Rainbow Graffiti nails like this for 3 days and went to work with them haha. I feel like people are more impressed with the fact that I did them myself then to be bothered by them 🙂

I started by painting my nails with one thick coat of Beyond the Nail – Bright White. I painted around each nail with liquid latex for easy cleanup afterwards. After both the polish and liquid latex were completely dry, I sponged on a rainbow gradient across each nail using makeup sponges and Beyond the Nail’s Spring Crème polishes (spring red, purple, blue, green, yellow and orange). I sponged about 2-3 layers depending on the colour. Immediately after sponging on the polishes, I peeled off the liquid latex. Then I cleaned up any excess polish around my cuticles with acetone and a tiny brush.

To get the stamped image that you see on my nails, I used UberChic’s Texture-licious Stamping Plate and Beyond the Nail – Deep Black. I also used MoYou London’s  Rectangular Clear Stamper & Scraper for the actual stamping. I love this stamper – it’s squishy and picks up and transfers the designs perfectly! I topped each nail off with one coat of OPI – Start to Finish.
