It feels like forever since I’ve done nail art. I seem to go in waves of loving nail art, to just wearing a solid nail polish, to right now. I’m typing this up with BARE nails. Ugh, I never leave my house without nail polish, but I felt like I needed to give my nails a rest (& let’s be honest, I’m just lazy..). But the more I look at my nail art, I really do love it!
For this look, I started off with a base of OPI – Start to Finish. I painted around each nail with some liquid latex. When everything was dry, I got a makeup sponge and dabbed on some blobs of Beyond the Nail – Creme de Menth, Charged Lilac, & Blazing Blush. I dabbed it all over my nails to give a fun gradient effect. I went over this step about 3 times to get a good opacity. After sponging on the nail polish, I peeled away the liquid latex. I stamped over it using stamping plate JQ-L10 & Beyond the Nail – Deep Black. I finished these nails with one coat of OPI – Start to Finish.
