Milk Chocolate Drip Nails

What happens when you break a nail? Obviously you glue on long fake nails and do nail art! Well, it’s obvious that I do that at least lol! Sadly, my pinky nail broke so I had to cut it all the way down. I ended up filing the rest of my nails down so it wouldn’t look too obvious that I broke a nail, but now I regret it because my real nails are so short. Luckily for me, I had ordered a bunch of fake nails months ago to play around with, and now’s the time to use them!

I was scrolling along on instagram the other night and came across these nails from @home_of_deva and loved the way the chocolate drip nails looked! I wanted to kind of mimic that same look. On my nails, I started with two thin coats of Wet n Wild – Mega Last The Saving Base. I didn’t have a sheer beige nail polish, so I figured I could get away with using this base coat as my overall base for the mani. When it was dry, I placed on a Blood Drip Nail Guide over each nail, and painted the exposed area with Beyond the Nail – Hot Cocoa. I immediately peeled away the nail guide while the nail polish was still wet. After letting it dry for about 2 minutes, I painted over each nail with a matte top coat.
